INDILA for Homeschool Families

Many Indiana families search for homeschool options and discover INDILA because it offers the flexibility of homeschooling with the structure, support, and accreditation of a private school.

INDILA is not traditional do-it-yourself homeschooling. It is a tuition-free, accredited virtual private school that lets families learn from home while providing certified teachers, a structured curriculum, grading, transcripts, and a recognized diploma.

What INDILA Teachers Do, and What You Do

Parents serve as learning coaches. Teaching, grading, and school records are INDILA’s responsibility.

INDILA teachers provide

✓  Instruction in every course
✓  Grading and specific feedback on assignments
✓  Pacing and progress monitoring
✓  Intervention when a student falls behind and acceleration when a student is ready
✓  Personalized academic plans and course placement
✓  Regular communication with families
✓  Official transcripts and records

Parents and guardians provide

✓  Daily learning routines and a consistent workspace
✓  Help staying organized and motivated
✓  A check that assignments are completed
✓  Progress monitoring in the parent view, including real-time grades
✓  Communication with teachers as needed

Students coming from homeschooling receive full academic placement support. Courses are matched to the student’s current skill level, so a student who is ahead in math and behind in writing can be placed accordingly.

Individual Courses for Traditional Homeschool Families

Families looking for a traditional homeschool experience may purchase individual courses through INDILA. This allows the parent to remain in the teacher role while drawing on a robust course catalog across the K–12 spectrum.

Individual-course enrollment is separate from full-time INDILA enrollment and is not covered by the Choice Scholarship. Contact INDILA for current course availability and pricing: email info@indila.org or call (574) 205-8875, and say you are asking about individual courses rather than full-time enrollment.
