Online Courses and Instructional Capacity for Your School
INDILA helps Indiana schools expand course offerings, fill staffing gaps, and support individualized learning without adding instructional staff. Partnerships are open to public, private, charter-affiliated, and independent schools.

How school partnerships work
For supplemental courses, your students remain enrolled at your school, and your school continues to award credit according to the agreed academic responsibilities. For students who enroll full time at INDILA, INDILA is the school of record and claims the student for all reporting purposes.

Two different arrangements, kept distinct
Supplemental course partnership: the student stays enrolled at your school. INDILA teaches and grades the course and reports to your administrators. Your school awards credit.
Full-time INDILA enrollment: the student is enrolled at INDILA and INDILA is the school of record. A partner organization may provide local support as a Learning Hub, described below.

INDILA is responsible for the academic and school-related functions defined in the partnership agreement. The Learning Hub is responsible for its facility, local staffing, supervision, programming, and day-to-day operations.

Design the Learning Hub model
Define each organization’s services, identify the students the model is designed to support, and establish clear responsibilities.

Prepare for launch
Develop staffing expectations, schedules, student-safety procedures, family communication, onboarding, and day-to-day operating plans.
Then launch, review, and improve. Begin serving students, evaluate the experience, identify needed adjustments, and expand only when the model is working well.

What is an INDILA Learning Hub?
A Learning Hub is a local organization that provides an in-person learning space and agreed support services for students enrolled full time at INDILA. INDILA provides the academic program. The Hub provides local structure, supervision, mentoring, accountability, and community.
Are students required to attend live virtual classes all day?
No. Students complete coursework on a flexible schedule instead of a fixed set of live virtual classes. INDILA teachers provide guidance and support, and Hub staff help students organize their day, stay on pace, and finish their work.
Does a Learning Hub need to employ certified teachers?
No. INDILA provides the certified academic instruction included in the full-time program. Hub staff generally focus on supervision, learning coaching, accountability, mentoring, routines, enrichment, and local support. Specific staffing expectations are set during partnership planning.
Can a Learning Hub charge for its services?
Possibly, depending on the approved partnership model. A Hub may set fees for its local services and may have an opportunity to take part in a mutually agreed financial arrangement with INDILA. The exact structure is discussed privately and documented before launch. INDILA’s tuition-free positioning applies to INDILA tuition for eligible Choice Scholarship students; it does not mean a Hub’s local services are automatically free.

Students in a Learning Hub are enrolled full time at INDILA, and INDILA is the school of record. INDILA maintains official records and transcripts and handles school administration and compliance.
